When you come to work for Boys Town, more than just a job awaits you. You will be part of a team that gives healing and hope to troubled youth. As a Water Safety Instructor, you will organize, instruct, and promote water recreational activities at the Boys Town Camp in Okoboji, Iowa. Teach swimming, water skiing, and kayaking to youth and staff at the Boys Town Camp. Other recreational activities you may do include basketball, volleyball, kickball, and other outdoor games.

Requirements:

• High School diploma
• Be at least 19 years old, with maturity to supervise youth aged 10-18 years
• Certified in: Basic Rescue, Emergency Water Safety Life Guarding
• Valid driver's license with good driving record
• Camp/lifeguard experience
• Have knowledge of boating; principles of kayaking helpful
