Position Overview:

The REWS Business Operations Manager is a key role within the Real Estate and Workplace Services (REWS) department, reporting directly to the Chief of Staff for the EVP of REWS. This position is instrumental in driving business initiatives, administering headcount management, ensuring operational efficiency, and supporting organizational objectives. We are seeking an individual with exceptional attention to detail, adaptability, and collaboration skills to excel in this fast-paced, results-oriented role.

Responsibilities:

Headcount Management: Administer REWS headcount management in alignment with organizational standards, leadership directives, and Chief of Staff (Headcount Planner) oversight.

  • Translate Exec Leader and Headcount Planner's objectives into headcount plan execution in Workday

  • Use judgment to make decisions on day to day transactions that allow assigned org and Exec Leader to stay within DNE and HC budget targets

  • Partner with HC Planner on annual and quarterly plans

  • Handle sensitive cost related data to help inform decisions

  • Define position details to be loaded in Workday based on Workforce Plan

  • Approve/deny cost-impacting position or requisition edits in Workday

  • Initiate ad-hoc position creation in Workday and edits via self service or though support teams

  • Maintain org's headcount plan via Workday position management (ad-hoc position creation, freeze/unfreeze or close positions)

  • Monitor position reports and dashboards and provide updates/insights to key stakeholder

  • Responsible for obtaining offline approvals per Chief of Staff guidelines

Strategic Assistance and Research:

  • Act as a force-multiplier for the Chief of Staff by providing strategic assistance and synthesizing information for their key initiatives.

  • Assist in researching and organizing a roster of guest speakers for leadership team gatherings, workshops, and various organizational events to foster interdisciplinary collaboration, as well as to enhance learning and professional growth.

Operations and Project Support:

  • Support the Chief of Staff in developing process improvements, presentations, playbooks, and executive-level decks.

  • Efficiently manage REWS Operations projects and programs, ensuring stakeholder involvement and successful outcomes.

  • Optimize team workflows, particularly in meeting and event coordination, in collaboration with the Executive Assistant team.

Communications:

  • Collaborate with Communications and Public Relations teams to support internal and external communication strategies and content.

  • Track key message initiatives, talking points, briefings, and approvals for various communication channels.

Required Skills:

  • Ability to handle confidential information with precision and high attention to detail.

  • Strong partnership-building skills across diverse functions to support strategic priorities.

  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

  • Deep commitment to Salesforce values, promoting culture and REWS hospitality.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of management experience, with a focus on supporting senior leadership and leading significant projects.

  • Bachelor's degree and related working experience in Business Administration, HR, Real Estate (particularly corporate real estate), or related field.

  • Exceptional cultural and emotional intelligence, coupled with a strong executive presence.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $132,800 to $182,600.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
