About this role

The Udemy Partnerships team is focused on finding, growing and engaging partners in pursuit of creating a next-gen learning environment for our consumer marketplace and business customers.

To drive growth in 2024 and beyond, we're looking for a Partner Marketing Manager to join our Partner Marketing team. In this role you will have the opportunity to design, build, and execute large-scale partner marketing campaigns as we scale our partner ecosystems. This includes leading and supporting global partner accounts by developing, launching and managing co-branded campaigns, monitoring partner marketing performance against key metrics and being an expert resource on marketing processes and guidelines for partners.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including partner success, business development, creative, finance, legal, and operations across B2C and B2B business units.

What you'll be doing
  • Help drive business growth with new and existing partners by supporting our Partnerships team across all geos
  • Work closely with AWS to develop both "marketing to" AWS sellers as well as "with" campaigns to create awareness and demand in target clients
  • Coordinating globally and lead select AWS Summit events including selection, funding, execution and lead management
  • Driving marketing execution of our MDF program
  • Manage marketing relationships with global partners to support partner and Udemy growth outcomes
  • Create partner marketing strategies and plans. You will define the core marketing value propositions as part of the overall partnership GTMs for Udemy's most strategic D2C and B2B partners
  • Work cross functionally with a variety of teams, including Product, Marketing, and Operations teams to align on initiative and effectively streamline the channel's day to day operations
  • Report updated status of partner discussions and progress to cross functional partners
  • Develop goals that are measurable and drive productivity within our partners
  • Develop and execute best-in-class marketing plans and programs across different partner tiers to effectively drive end-customer awareness
What you'll have
  • 3-5+ years of work experience, with demonstrated success in partner marketing, product marketing and/or lifecycle marketing practices, and event execution.
  • Familiarity with the AWS Marketplace and building co-marketing campaigns, and global partner marketing strategies and programs.
  • Experience designing and executing joint marketing plans with strategic alliance partners with global footprint.
  • Ability to work autonomously, manage cross-functional projects, extremely methodical and organized, with great attention to details, and comfort with ambiguity and pivoting when needed.
  • Strong project management skills with experience gaining consensus and driving deliverables with individuals inside and outside the organization.
  • Experience in managing multiple partners of varied sizes to build marketing programs appropriate for their goals.
  • Strong problem solving skills, presentation skills, and comfortable communicating with all levels of executives.
  • Preferably comfortable using Salesforce, Asana, GSuite, and Microsoft Office.
  • Understanding of accounting / finance and knowledge around contracts and legal agreements.
  • Analytical tendencies with a natural curiosity to measure, test, learn and iterate in order to get the best results possible.

Actual compensation for this role is based on several factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, qualifications, experience, and specific work location due to differences in the cost of labor. In addition to a base salary, this role is also eligible for benefits and equity.
