JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Responsible for equipment and plant layout design, energy conservation, development and implementation of capital program and key projects, general upkeep and improvement of plant facility, electrical and mechanical servicing and efficient maintenance of physical plant, utilities and grounds in accordance with state and federal regulations and company policies and procedures.
* Ensure compliance with environmental laws and addresses environmental issues.
* Working with cross-functional groups of employees and contractors in the successful management and execution of key projects.
* Supports and facilitates Safety, Health, Quality and Environmental objectives and fosters a work environment which promotes the facility to perform as "one of the safest companies in each market and business we operate".
* Budgetary responsibility for assigned projects.
* Participates in the development, implementation, and coordination of the capital budget to improve and maintain equipment and facilities 15%
* Leads and manages assigned capital projects to include new equipment installations, plant layout and design, manufacturing automation projects, and maintenance related projects.
* Develops scope of work and evaluates bids for work completion 55%
* Monitors outside contractors to assure compliance with all company standards including sanitation, safety, quality, productivity and budgeting 10%
* Responsible for the cost schedule and performance of assigned projects 5%
* Participates in NCE Initiatives
* Work overtime and weekends as required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Must be authorized to work in the United States.
* B.S. degree in Engineering or related technical field from an accredited institution.
* 3+ years of capital project management experience and 1+ years of budget management experience.
* Capable of managing the capital budget process from beginning to end.
* Able to effectively manage multiple tasks/projects on an ongoing basis.
* Thorough understanding of engineering economics.
* Must work well with others and have the ability to work under supervision
* Ability to meet all quality of work and sanitation requirements with regular attendance
* Good communication skills
* Ability to work overtime
* Steel toe shoes are required, and to be provided by the worker at own expense
