A Senior Manager, E-Commerce Marketing job is available at Ste. Michelle Wine Estates (SMWE). The role is an exciting opportunity for a candidate obsessed with driving growth and innovation. The role is responsible for developing and implementing strategies and tactics that drive sales across 3rd party retailers, e-commerce platforms and marketplaces that sell wine online. The position will be responsible for monitoring online retailers and marketplaces to identify white space opportunities and product trends as well as developing a unique e-commerce value proposition. This role will work closely with Ste Michelle's Sales and Distributor partners to grow e-commerce presence and sales of our prestigious product portfolio.

Senior Manager, E-Commerce Marketing job responsibilities include:

  • Partner with cross-functional teams in channel sales support activities and establish key performance criteria to measure success in alignment with annual sales plan goals/objectives
  • Develop and deliver strategies to drive sales to for various e-commerce channels, along with identified new business initiatives
  • Collaborate and manage internal cross-functional processes and relationships needed to ensure success (Brand, Digital Marketing, Trade Marketing, Sales, Compliance, Finance)
  • Guide product catalog and changes based on analysis; sort, ranking, exposure, location, etc. in conjunction with marketplace partners
  • Plan and execute e-commerce marketing and promotional calendar and budget across 3rd party e-commerce channels and platforms
  • Analyze search positioning and other key promotional activity to improve marketing performance
  • Collaborate with Insights & Analytics on performance reporting, incl. sales, marketing, category performance, and other relevant KPIs
  • Drive overall e-commerce strategy for SMWE brands incl. SKU recommendations/deletions
  • Manage external support resources for product pages to provide the best possible customer experience and enhancement of our brands
  • Maximize the availability and visibility of our products across all channels with an emphasis on priority SKUs
  • Oversee the content development process for enhanced brand and other product-centric information incl. alternative images and video
  • Responsible for maintaining product integrity, content accuracy as well as overall marketplace taxonomy
  • Provide monthly sales reporting; Use this information to help identify and educate cross-functional teams on key trends
  • Partner with distribution network (primarily SGWS) on all e-commerce related projects as needed
  • Act as the subject matter expert and internal evangelist for the e-commerce business. Build strong cross-functional relationships to ensure organizational alignment on plans.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Digital Marketing or equivalent required, advanced degree such as MBA preferred
  • 7+ years progressive performance marketing, site merchandising, and eCommerce experience required with 3+ years in a leadership role (direct or indirect)
  • Strong working knowledge of Wine/Grocery/CPG e-commerce trends and platforms.
  • 3rd party marketplaces experience including: Amazon, Wal Mart, Target, Drizly, Uber Eats
  • Experience with retail marketplace content and media platforms
  • Experience managing performance marketing programs, such as paid search and/or programmatic media
  • Strong knowledge of retail website mechanics (SEO, Keywords, Image optimization, etc.)
  • High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications
  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning)
  • Keen ability to interpret market data (sales, demographics, consumer attitudes, etc.) recognizing market place opportunities
  • History of responsible use of alcohol and other appropriate conduct, as well as fitness to be licensed, permitted, and/or certified by state and/or local regulatory bodies.

Your Compensation:

$106,370-138,292/yr. based upon relevant experience.
