Genesis10 is seeking a Systems Analyst I for a contract with our client in Waterloo, IA. 30% Remote.

Job Description:
The Systems Analyst I's role is to plan, design, develop, and launch efficient information systems and operations systems in support of core organizational functions. This person will apply proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve systems issues to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • SQL Server, JSON, XML, stored procedures, and working with data from disparate systems for 5 years or more.
  • 3 years or more experience working in cloud system architecture (Azure or AWS preferred).
  • 3 years or more developing API integrations.
  • General understanding of security and protecting data in use.
  • Examine and evaluate current systems for effectiveness and suggest improvements.
  • Design and deploy enhancements to existing applications using system configuration tools.
  • Trouble shooting, problem resolution, tech debt reduction.
  • Work closely with users to ensure the system meets business needs.
  • Documentation, communication, and requirements gathering.
  • Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems.
Required Basic Qualifications:
  • Formal Education & Certification
  • College diploma or university degree in computer science, information science, and/or management information systems.
  • Must excel at working with peers within a team environment.
  • Working technical knowledge of SQL and object-oriented programming languages.
  • Strong conceptualization, analytical, and logic skills.
  • Ability to meet project plan timelines and produce a high-quality product.
  • Ability to take individual initiative and accountability for assignments.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply new tools and technologies.
  • Interpersonal Attributes
  • Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
  • Availability and Physical Requirements
  • On-call availability, including after hours, for large deployments.
  • Sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Some travel may be required for training purposes.
  • Working at a physical desk, moving about the office and facility as needed for work .
  • Operation of office machinery and equipment Operation of office machinery and equipment - dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and to handle other computer components.
  • Visual abilities to include reading, distance vision and peripheral vision.

Compensation:
Hourly W2 pay rate $50/hr
We have access to additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions with various rate ranges.
