Provides overall management of assigned areas and supports the overall mission of the Behavioral Health Services Department. Responsibilities include Powell Chemical Dependency Cente. Ensures high quality, efficient and affordable comprehensive services for patients, families and the community. Oversees the Powell CDC Alumni and Friends Association. Educates the organization and community to understand addictions and recovery. Accountable for the program's fiscal performance.

Education: Master's degree or commitment to complete a Master's degree within 3 years. Master's degree in a behavioral or administration field.
Experience: 1 year of supervisory experience. 3 years in a behavioral health field with increasing levels of accountability, Case Management, Managed Care, & Chemical Dependency.
License(s)/Certification(s): Valid driver's license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons. Iowa Board of Certification-Substance Abuse certification. Independent licensure as a mental health clinician in the State of Iowa.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Effective use of ASAM PPC-2R. Knowledge of State of Iowa substance abuse licensure standards. Word processing, spreadsheet, email and web browser. Utilization Management, Principles of Case Management, Performance Improvement, Care Coordination.
Other: Use of usual and customary equipment used to perform essential functions of the position.
