POSITION SUMMARY

The PROS Program Manager is an important member of the PROS and agency management team. The PROS Program Manager is responsible for providing individuals with severe and persistent mental health conditions a full range of comprehensive, recovery-oriented services with the purpose of assisting them in overcoming barriers related to their mental health conditions, providing supervision to PROS staff, and participating as a member of the PROS management team.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Program Responsibilities

  • Participate as a member of the Admission and Orientation/Engagement teams in the pre-admissions screening and admissions processes
  • Coordinate and implement initial psychiatric rehabilitation assessments
  • Develop and implement curriculum designed to strengthen individuals' basic living skills and wellness self-management skills
  • Develop and implement vocational rehabilitation/IPS services and supports to increase employment outcomes
  • Develop, plan, and implement tracking data to meet Medicaid Managed Care guidelines in collaboration with the Clinical Director
  • Develop, plan, and implement system to obtain prior authorizations from Managed Care companies for continuity of care
  • Collaborate with individual and collaterals in developing, reviewing, and modifying an Individualized Recovery Plan that identifies the medically necessary services that will support the individual's goals and identified path to recovery
  • Communicate with referral sources, individuals, and families concerning referrals, assessments, and coordination of treatment planning to ensure continuity of care
  • Coordinate services among PROS components
  • Provide crisis intervention services with the purpose of deescalating situations of acute distress which require immediate attention
  • Provide engagement services with the purpose of fostering an individual's commitment to participate in program services supportive of the individual's recovery
  • Maintain case records on each individual on case load in accordance with recognized and acceptable principles of recordkeeping
  • Implement quality assurance procedures in collaboration with the Clinical Director
  • Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner and complies with OMH/Medicaid regulations and agency policies and procedures

Management Responsibilities

  • Function as a member of the PROS management team
  • Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate PROS unlicensed staff
  • Assign and monitor staff caseloads
  • Provide and facilitate on-going staff development
  • Develop, facilitate, and supervise the provision of Intensive Rehabilitation services
  • Assist in monthly billing and management of cost center
Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • Associate Degree required with experience listed below.

Experience:

  • Two years' experience in direct service to individuals with severe and persistent mental health and/or substance use disorder
  • One year of supervisory experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in human services or related field
