Job Description
Position Title: Production
Wage: $15.00- $16.25
Shift: 1st shift,2nd shift,3rd shift
Hours: 7a-3:30p, 3p-11:30p, 11p-7:30a (Sun-Th)
QPS Employment has excellent associate to hire opportunities to join a family-owned company in Marion, IA with a proven track record of providing high-quality products and exceptional service! This client is gearing up for their busy season and we are looking for many candidates to get ready for these roles!
Primary Duties:
-Operate coiling machine to produce hoses according to specifications.
-Utilize hose puller to maintain proper tension and alignment during production.
-Operate hose accumulator and turntable to facilitate the manufacturing process.
-Perform crimping of hose ends to ensure secure fittings.
-Use hose cutter to accurately cut hoses to required lengths.
-Apply retail packaging to finished products in accordance with company standards.
-Operate automatic box-tapers to prepare products for shipment.
Physical Requirements:
-Able to lift up to 55 lbs (50% of time).
-Must be able to stand for duration of shift (8 hours).
-Must be able to bend, lift and twist repetitively (50% of time).
Capabilities and/or Experience Required:
-Must work well with others and take direction well.
-Must be able to problem solve.
-Attention to detail for quality product.
-Strong communication skills with ability to read and understand English.
