We currently have a remote contract-to-hire opportunity available for a Sr. IT Consultant with expertise in PLM. This role would be primarily remote, however, travel up to 25% is required.
A bachelor's or graduate degree in business administration, IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or Food Science is preferred. Experience with Process Manufacturing industries is a plus.

Key responsibilities:
  • Perform the lead consultant role on business-to-business (B2B) software implementation projects.
  • Provide functional support on projects
  • Proactively engage with stakeholders at all levels throughout the implementation process to analyze the customers' needs and alignment with requirements.
  • Maintain a detailed knowledge of the software being implemented.
  • Work in partnership with the FCID project manager on your projects to own the solution.
  • Contribute to continued process improvement, and develop repeatable methodologies and best practices, while maintaining thorough project documentation.
  • Demonstrate solid verbal and written communication skills.
  • Recommend implementation resourcing and high-level planning on prospective project opportunities
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies relevant to the food industry and software implementation.

Essential Requirements:
  • Outstanding general consulting skills (soft skills, structured thinking, effective report writing, communication, presenting, and stakeholder engagement)
  • Knowledge and experience of significant aspects of related disciplines such as Enterprise Software, Enterprise Architecture, Agile Software Development and Digital Technologies
  • Experience with Manufacturing or Retail industries including specific experience with enterprise supply chain solutions
  • At least 4 years of IT consulting experience
  • Ability to operate in a fluid environment and comfortable with high levels of uncertainty
  • Up to 25% travel required
  • Experience with implementing and administering Oracle Fusion Cloud Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) or Oracle Agile Product Lifecycle Management for Process
