Short Description

The Telemetry Equipment Distribution Tech works collaboratively with the Centralized Monitoring Room and inpatient units to follow policies and procedures to help the departments function more efficiently in telemetry monitoring of patients. The Telemetry Equipment Distribution Tech is responsible for the tracking, delivering, retrieving, and cleaning of equipment to ensure safe monitoring and care of our patients.

  • Delivering, retrieving, cleaning, and storage of telemetry packs according to established policies and procedures.
  • Adjusting telemetry leads and battery replacement to ensure proper rhythm capture/recording.
  • Inventory tracking.
  • Participation in performance improvement activities

Experience Required

0-2 years required.


Education Requirements

High School Diploma required.


License/Certification Requirements

BLS - American Heart Association, required.
