What We Need:

We are looking for a high-energy and customer focused individual to join this robust team as a Sales Support Specialist. This role is located in Muscatine, IA with hybrid work schedule option.

Are you someone who can serve as an impactful connection between the sales team, trade partners, and other departments across the organization for HNI Workplace Furnishings? You will have the opportunity to learn and support our sales processes, collaborating with the field sales team to drive sales, and building strong relationships with trade partners in assigned region.

What You Will Do:

  • Partner with our field sales team and trade partners to achieve sales and profitability goals
  • Provide sales support and serve as a key point of contact for pre-sale activities
  • Support and track projects and activity: Execute proposals, quotes, renderings, etc.
  • Drive utilization of new products and program sales by training trade partners
  • Support sales through creation and maintenance of project presentation materials
  • Actively track all activities within CRM; maintain pertinent sales data and reports
  • Participates in activities and initiatives as appropriate to ensure success of the organization

What You Have:

  • 2-Year Associates Degree;4-year degree preferred
  • Prior experience in customer focused roles, inside sales, sales support roles preferred

What You're Good At:

  • Must be self-motivated with a strong results orientation
  • Customer focused, with ability to work in a highly collaborative environment
  • Technologically savvy, adept with MS Office Suite, Web Tools.
  • Strong time management, organizational, planning, and follow-up skills
  • High impact communication ability, both written and verbal, as well as active listening skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Comfortable presenting/speaking in front of others.
  • Learning agility, self-developmental focus
  • Ability to effectively build and maintain positive internal and external network relationship.
