What We Need:

We are looking for a Senior Manager PMO - SCRUM Master to join our HNI Workplace Furnishings team. This role is located in Muscatine, Iowa - not a Remote position.

The Senior Manager PMO - SCRUM Master will be responsible for providing leadership and direction into improving & implementing Agile process tools into our product development organization. This role will include working with product development, project management, and leading the process improvement team in understanding, improving tools, implementing changes to process & tools, as well as coaching our agile system.

What You Will Do:

  • Provide insight & improvement of Agile methodologies to the product development organization.
  • Guide and coach team(s) and/or assigned direct reports utilizing SCRUM framework and Agile methodology, practice, and guidelines.
  • Lead and facilitate SCRUM ceremonies, daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective and help establish what successful tools look like.
  • Monitor and track KPIs and provide on-time reporting to deliver high-quality products and solutions.
  • Proactively identify potential risks or barriers and implement resolutions to remove obstacles. Monitor and track KPIs and provide on-time reporting to deliver high-quality products and solutions.
  • Adhere to budgetary guidelines and track progress accordingly alerting project owner/team of potential budgetary concerns.
  • Work closely with project managers and product development team to create and maintain project timelines.
  • Supervise, coordinate, provide leadership and review work of assigned members. Conduct performance evaluations and recommend merit increases, promotions, transfers, corrective actions, and other personnel actions. Interview and recommend candidates for employment. Drive member engagement within the team.
  • Participate in activities as appropriate to ensure the success of the organization.

What You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required.
  • Certification in Agile methodologies, like Certified SCRUM Master (CSM) or Professional SCRUM Master (PSM).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience a Scrum Master.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum principles and practices.
