This position will perform transmission system studies and market simulations using power flow programs and market modeling platforms for ETC Endure Energy at our Overland Park Kansas office.
Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to
perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this
position are listed below:
- Bachelors degree in General Business, Economics, Finance, or other relevant degree or equivalent work experience
- 2 - 5 years of relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Research and modelling of electricity market supply, demand, pricing and grid congestion fundamentals for daily trading and to assess longer-term trends
- Performing general quantitative analyses and econometric studies of energy markets
- Tracking and analyzing electricity markets; monitoring and evaluating market and environmental policy developments that impact wholesale prices.
- Data mining and analysis to identify commercial opportunities
Working Conditions:
The work environment characteristics described here are

functions of this job.
- Usually, normal office working conditions.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of
the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
- Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings,
which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as
extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate
personal protective equipment.
