OFCCP recently added two new Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) to its website concerning the new VETS-4212 reporting form and voluntary self-identification requirement for protected veterans. The first FAQ addresses the process of inviting self-identification of protected veterans at the post-offer stage, and the second FAQ explains whether contactors may continue to invite applicants to voluntarily self-identify as a protected veteran.

The National Industry Liaison Group (NILG) is the nation’s premier employer association on affirmative action and equal employment opportunity. Created in the early 1980s, Industry Liaison Groups (ILGs) were formed to promote communication between federal contractors and the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP).

NILG’s mission is to promote affirmative action, equal employment opportunity, and diversity by working closely with the OFCCP, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), related administrative agencies, and local and regional ILGs to:
  • Advocate the positions and viewpoints of their constituents
  • Comment and provide feedback on regulatory and legislative initiatives
  • Educate their constituents on developments regarding equal employment opportunity, affirmative action, and related regulatory changes
Industry Liaison Group(ILG)Local ILGs are in every Department of Labor region. The NILG Board supports approximately 200 ILGs, which are comprised of small, mid-size, and large federal contractors and employers across the country.
