Greg Williams is a service connected disabled and decorated-combat Vietnam Veteran. Greg served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1966 to 1970. In 2000, Greg was named to the President’s Small Business Advisory Council. In 2003, he accepted a position as a Local Veterans’ Employment Representative (LVER) with the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development. Currently, Greg is the Lead Worker for the Office of Veteran Services, and his primary responsibilities are working with employers, public and private agencies that provide services to veterans, and recently separated veterans.

The Department of Labor - Veterans' Employment and Training Service (VETS) program provides employment assistance to all veterans in local one-stop job centers. The Disabled Veterans' Outreach Program (DVOP) and Local Veterans’ Employment Representatives (LVER) program provide employment and training services to eligible veterans. DVOPs and LVERs give the latest information on local labor markets and career counseling.
