Precision Strategies is now accepting applications for interns to join our communications team in our Washington, D.C. or New York office this summer. This is a paid internship, and undergraduates, recent graduates, and graduate students are eligible to apply. Summer internships will start in June and run through the end of August 2023 though dates are flexible. We ask that interns be able to commit at least 35 hours a week.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Providing support to our team on a variety of clients ranging from companies, causes, and campaigns.
  • Compiling morning clips and media monitoring.
  • Participate in client meetings and brainstorms.
  • Conduct research for our client work and new business.
  • Develop content and create writing projects.
  • Gain understanding of the PR profession and agency life.

What We Are Looking For:

  • A strong interest in growing their communications skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail.
  • The ability to work collaboratively on a team
  • Creative, energetic, detail-oriented and possesses an entrepreneurial spirit.

Due to the pandemic, we required all employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19. We are currently working in a hybrid model and required staff to work in the office 10 days each month.
