In this internship with Oceaneering, you will:
Oceaneering is seeking motivated Inside Machinist Intern to work and learn in our Marine Services Division (MSD) located in Chesapeake, VA. The successful candidate will participate in a practical, structured, systematic program of on-the-job training and related instruction to develop existing military technical experience. Internship can be 6 - 24 weeks long and can only commence within 180 days before leaving active duty service.

Demonstrate the ability to perform the set up and operation of all CNC machines (lathes, mills, grinders, saws, etc.) and hand tools used in the trade as well as the ability to use all precision measuring instruments such as outside diameter and inside diameter micrometers, height gauges, depth gauges, calipers, verniers, lay-out tools and possess the ability to accurately record readings and measurements. |
